Working with Nana’s Chutneys, I was tasked with building a stand for their exhibition shows. The brief was to construct a stand that is flexible, adaptable, easy to transport and with storage for stock. The result was a successful solid stand that can fit any space and as a plus, environmentally friendly. Only the connectors are made from hard plastic, but they can also be reused for building other furniture.

MVHR INSTALLTION

Installed a Mechanical Ventilation Heat Recovery system (MVHR) to a residential building. This was part of a larger retrofit project to the property. The unit was purchased from 21 degrees (also known as Green Building Store). They provided all the equipment and excellent support. The scary part was drilling the holes on the external wall.

Kitchen Install

I assisted with a Leicht kitchen installtion alongside who I can only explain as the best kitchen fitter I’ve seen and worked with. It was a pleasure working on the project and the kitchen looked amazing. We also had a little visitor pop in as seen in the photo.

Renovation Works

Worked on carpentry projects in a domestic property. Work’s included, boxing-in ventilation ducts, building a dwarf stud wall for kitchen units to sit against, Installing cove lighting strips and other small jobs.

Carpentry Courses

Completed three carpentry courses at The Builder Training Centre in London; Carpentry Foundation, Carpentry Advanced and Kitchen Fitting. It was a positive experience, and I highly recommend for anyone looking to learn basic DIY carpentry skills the Carpentry Foundation course. It was probably the most enjoyable course.
